Website Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 24 July 2026

These terms govern use of the Dotch Flavour website and purchases made through it.

1.1 About us

The website is operated by Dotch Flavour Foods Limited, trading as Dotch Flavour. Registered company number: 17246871. Registered office: 5 The Grazings, Hemel Hempstead, United Kingdom, HP2 5JN. Customer service email: hello@dotchflavourfoods.com. Telephone/WhatsApp: +447889490189.

1.2 Agreement to these terms

By using the website, creating an account, submitting an enquiry, registering for an experience or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order.

1.3 Who may order

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. You are responsible for ensuring that the details you provide are complete and accurate.

1.4 Products and services

Dotch Flavour sells frozen Ready Soups, freshly prepared food, catering services, event or experience tickets and selected merchandise. Product images are illustrative. Handmade food may vary slightly in colour, texture, ingredient distribution and presentation without affecting its quality.

1.5 Product information, ingredients and allergens

We aim to keep product descriptions, ingredients, portion guidance, storage instructions and allergen information accurate. Recipes may change. Customers must read the information shown on the product page and packaging each time they order. If you or the intended recipient has an allergy or intolerance, contact us before ordering and do not rely only on previous purchases.

1.6 Prices

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are added at checkout. We may change prices, bundles and promotional offers at any time, but changes will not affect an order already accepted.

Current minimum Ready Soups prices at the date of this policy are £70.00 for Efo Riro, Efo Egusi and Ila Asepo, and £85.00 for Ayamase and Buka Stew. These prices remain subject to the live website at checkout.

1.7 Minimum orders and bundles

The minimum online order for Ready Soups is three tubs. Customers seeking a smaller local or exceptional order may contact us by WhatsApp, but acceptance is at our discretion. Catering orders have a minimum order value of £200.

1.8 Placing an order

Next-day delivery is available for orders placed Monday to Thursday between 7am and 11am (UK time). Orders placed Friday, Saturday or Sunday are scheduled for Tuesday delivery. Orders after 11am on a weekday are treated as the next eligible order day's order. Your order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt, not acceptance. A contract is formed when we send an order confirmation or begin preparing or dispatching the order, whichever occurs first. We may decline an order where a product is unavailable, payment fails, delivery is not reasonably possible, information is incomplete or we suspect fraud or misuse.

1.9 Payments

Online payments may be processed through Stripe and PayPal. Payment providers process card or account data under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not store full payment-card details. Catering bookings require full payment to confirm the booking unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

1.10 Customer accounts and guest checkout

Customers may create an account or check out as a guest. Account holders are responsible for keeping login details confidential and for activity carried out through their account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.

1.11 Delivery

We deliver within the United Kingdom to eligible addresses. Ready Soups are intended for next-day delivery after dispatch, but courier timings are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delivery charges and available services are displayed at checkout. Our Delivery Policy forms part of these terms.

1.12 Risk and responsibility after delivery

Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address provided or collected by you. Frozen and chilled items must be transferred to appropriate storage promptly. We are not responsible for deterioration caused by an incorrect address, missed delivery, delayed unpacking, improper storage or failure to follow heating and storage instructions.

1.13 Cancellations and perishable goods

Many food products are perishable or liable to deteriorate rapidly. The statutory 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to such products, customised goods or catering prepared for a specific date. This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality. Our Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policy provides further details.

1.14 Catering and bespoke orders

Catering and bespoke orders are governed by the Catering Booking Policy and any written quotation or event specification. Where there is a conflict, the signed or accepted quotation takes priority for that booking.

1.15 Experiences, events and tickets

Event details, admission conditions, cancellation terms and age restrictions will be stated on the event page or ticket confirmation. We may make reasonable changes to speakers, programme, timings or suppliers. If an event is cancelled by us, the remedy stated in the event terms will apply.

1.16 Merchandise

Merchandise, including tote bags and wooden spoons, may be sold or offered as promotional gifts. Product colours and dimensions may vary slightly. Standard consumer rights apply to faulty merchandise.

1.17 Promotions and discount codes

Promotions are subject to availability, stated dates and any specific conditions. Unless stated otherwise, codes cannot be exchanged for cash, combined or applied retrospectively. We may withdraw a promotion where there is an error, misuse or suspected fraud.

1.18 Intellectual property

The website, logos, brand assets, packaging, photography, videos, recipes, written content and designs are owned by or licensed to Dotch Flavour Foods Limited. They may not be copied, reproduced, adapted or used commercially without written permission.

1.19 Acceptable website use

  • Do not interfere with the website, introduce malware or attempt unauthorised access.
  • Do not use false identities, payment information or addresses.
  • Do not scrape, reproduce or commercially exploit website content without permission.
  • Do not submit unlawful, abusive, defamatory or misleading material.

1.20 Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, business loss suffered by consumers, or loss caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If you are purchasing wholly or mainly for business purposes, additional limitations may be agreed in writing.

1.21 Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, courier disruption, power failure, supply interruption, public-health restrictions or transport disruption. We will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and contact affected customers where practical.

1.22 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published when an order is placed will normally apply to that order. Material changes will be dated at the top of the page.

1.23 Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers may also have rights to bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where they live.

1.24 Contact
